The first bus leaves at 7:00 AM and the last one is around 5:30 PM so there is plenty of time for sightseeing once you get off.

Hike from Chautara to Dhulikhel (5/6 hours)
Distance: 7 km (4.3 mi)
Difficulty: Easy to moderate, depending on your fitness level
Time required: 5-6 hours
You can expect to hike about 3 miles through a narrow forest path until you reach a ridge where you'll have spectacular views of the mountains and valleys around Dhulikhel. This is one of my favorite spots in Nepal because it's so peaceful and beautiful! However, it's important that you take precautions while hiking here because there are many sharp rocks that can injure or even kill someone if they slip on them while hiking uphill. It's also recommended that you bring some water with you since there aren't any restrooms along this trail—and don't forget sunscreen since it gets quite hot during mid-day sun hours!
